It took three opera productions—Lyric Opera of Chicago, the San Francisco Opera Association, and Houston Grand Opera to bring this stunning Broadway classic to the Kennedy Center stage, and it was well worth their efforts. You’ll hum along with the production’s full orchestra and chorus on those iconic songs you remember, like "Ol' Man River," “Bill” and "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man.”

More than 180 contemporary art galleries come together this month to show and sell works by more than 1,000 artists at the second annual Frieze New York art fair. Located at Randall’s Island State Park in Manhattan, the event features Frieze Projects commissioned exclusively for the fair, as well as keynote lectures, debates and panel discussions (Frieze Talks). Attendees may also view presentations by solo artists in the Frame section, and peruse works by veteran and up-and-coming artists in the Sculpture Park adjacent to the waterfront along the East River.
